Mendocino Heritage Pork Company
John Bemesderfer and Jim Boudoures joined forces in 2011 to try to raise a better pig which would give pork a more intense and moist flavor than most. John had a life’s experience in farming and Jim had 30 years raising pigs. They started a breeding program using the rare Mangalitsa breed and paired it with other well renowned Heritage pigs before eventually settling on the Berkshire as a perfect combo. They then formed Mendocino Heritage Pork Company to share the fruits of their labor with their neighbors and friends.

Shamrock Artisan Goat Cheese
Shamrock Artisan Goat Cheeses are Farmstead-made from start to finish. All of their products are made right at their ranch with milk from their own goats. Most of the feed for the animals is grown on the property and any they buy is from their valley. All the cheeses are made with vegetable rennet and not from animal sources. They recycle the water used in manufacturing too. They work to leave as small a carbon footprint as possible.
